Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with your order, and we’re proud to have a strong track record of customer satisfaction. Because of the nature of our products, we don’t accept returns unless there’s a clear issue with the item.
That said, if something went wrong or your order arrived damaged, get in touch within 15 days of receiving your order and we’ll do our best to make it right.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, we may ask for a quick photo of the item. This helps if we need to file a claim with the shipping carrier.
To be eligible for a return or refund, the item must be:
- Unused
- In its original shrink-wrapped packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
In some cases, we may ask that you donate the item (for example, to a local school or library), rather than returning it by mail. When that’s the case, we’ll still issue your refund once we hear from you.
Refund Timing
If your return or issue is approved, we’ll process your refund within five business days. Refunds are applied to the original method of payment. If you don’t see it right away:
- Check your bank account
- Contact your credit card provider
- Reach out to us at info@thestorymatic.com if it still hasn’t appeared
Shipping
If we do request a return, you’ll be responsible for return shipping. All returns must be sent via USPS Priority Mail with tracking. We do not accept FedEx or UPS at our P.O. box.
